I am writing to enquire if there is an opportunity for me to follow a student traineeship at your company.
At school are we learning different programing languages. The first year of school we mostly learn’t front-end languages. Think about HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. But at the end of the first year we learn’t about PHP and SQL databases. At the beginning of the second year I had my first internship at VORIGE-STAGE-NAAM. That internship allowed me to further develop and strengthen my technical skills. In particular I learn’t a lot about JavaScript. I have learn’t the framework Meteor.js. Meteor.js is an Javasciprt framework that uses Node.js. My knowledge about different programing languages, frameworks, tools and programs is very wide. (Java, Sass, jQuery, Photoshop, etc.)

My name is Thijmen ACHTERNAAM and I am 17 years old and I live in the Netherlands in a small city called Plaatsnaam. Currently I am a student of application developer at SCHOOLNAAM also know as VOORBEELD. I am a productive, independent, social, sporting and an eager to learn person. In my spare time I like to hang around and go out with my friends. I also find myself learning different programming skills that I do not learn at school.
The reason that I want to do my internship abroad, is because I think it’s an once in a life time experience. Not only will I learn a lot about programing and realizing websites but I would
also learn about the culture in America, the language, meeting new people and a lot more. In my internship I would like to focus on making and realizing apps/websites. And the programming language doesn’t matter. I would like to learn new programing languages but I am also open to expand my skills an programing languages I already know. The internship last 20 weeks long and it is from 20 September to 21 January. It is also intended that I'm going to do my final exam during this internship.
