Oké, daar gaat ie. Ik zet alleen de tekst zoals ik vind dat ie moet zijn.
Hello/Hi everyone!
My name is Evy van Keulen. I am 15 years old and I live in Rotterdam together with my father and mother, sister and little brother. I like to be lazy in my spare time, I also like running and fitness. I am not fond of school so I try to do as little as possible. My favorite season is the summer, because I can go to the beach and swim. I like stars (astronomy?) and music is my life.
I want to talk to you about my invention.
I am sure you will recognize this: It’s very windy outside, it’s raining cats and dogs. so really bad weather.
But you have to go trough this weather. You have three options: Pull your hood(hoodie) over your head, wear your rain suit or take your umbrella. The hoodie doesn't really keep the rain out and, of course you hate wearing a rain suit, so you take your umbrella.
You’re going to the supermarket. A headwind is blowing and you get pretty wet, even though you have an umbrella over your head. You keep your umbrella a bit down so the wind doesn't get under it and then you bump into someone. Oops, sorry, I didn't see you.
I thought, there must be another way to go outside in the rain and not get into all this trouble. So, I invented the umbrella with a peephole! I am calling it the handy umbrella. Through the peephole or window you can see what's happening in the street in front of you and you never have to bump into anyone anymore. Besides, you keep you head and torso dry. Very practical!
It is easy to make a peephole into an umbrella.
Cut out a piece in a cute shape at the right place and glue a piece of transparent plastic to the inside (outside?) of the umbrella. Done!
