I had a bad opinion about the assignment in the beginning. To me, it seemed an awful lot of work. Furthermore, it seemed very hard. It wasn't all that bad after all, and everything went quite well. The most difficult part of this assignment, was that everything was to be spoken in English. This was hard, because I hardly ever speak that language.
In addition, the making of the video was quite hard sometimes, as we had to pick a location, and the filming had to be done over and over again a lot of times.
The feedback that you have given us has been very helpful, because I learn from such comments/criticism.
Most of the time I am a little bit frightened to speak English out loud, but this time I really had to.
I definitely used a lot of English. Mostly because we made a news-broadcast, in which we ofcourse had to speak a lot of English. At first I found it very hard, but as I were speaking it became easier.
My task was to write my own pieces, I had to write the weather forecast, and I had to write a part about the 'EO Jongerendag'.
This went, despite my expectations, very well. I also filmed the entire weather forecast.
The writing of my texts cost me a lot of time, as well as the filming of the weather forecast. It took quite a while, but the result was outstanding and worth the time.
I have learned to make proper and long pieces of texts, not to forget the fact that my pronunciation of English has clearly increased.
No, I prefer to work alone. Mostly because I am in charge of my own work. Whenever you work with someone else, you have to wait until somebody has finished his or her part, which bothers me.
Some of the problems were that the filming went wrong, or that people forgot their lines.
Sommige problemen waren dat het filmen steeds misging of dat iemand zijn tekst vergat!
